GAMSTOP
- Run by
- The National Online Self Exclusion Scheme Ltd; participation required by the Gambling Commission
- Screening

- Marketing
- Stop marketing to self-excluded customers; remove or flag them in marketing databases within 2 days (SR 3.5.3)
- Exclusion periods
- 6 months, 1 year, 5 years, or 5 years with auto-renewal. An exclusion doesn't end on its own at expiry: the person has to ask, with at least a 24-hour cooling-off.
The Gambling Commission's guidance says the marketing duty also covers customers whose exclusion has expired but who haven't chosen to return.
You're responsible for marketing sent by affiliates and other third parties on your behalf (SR 1.1.2).
